Maya, developed by Autodesk, is mainly used in the game and film/VFX industry. It’s a great tool for creating characters, visual effects, and complex environments.

TIE Fighter - The Galactic Empire

From the original Star Wars trilogy, the TIE (Twin Ion Engine) Fighter is one of the most iconic spacecraft ever created. This was the main reason I chose to take on the challenge of creating this image as part of my final project (examensarbete) in upper secondary school (gymnasiet). The image represents the culmination of everything I had learned during my three years of modeling in Maya.
Unfortunately, this is the only piece I still have from those years working in Maya.
